SPARTA, N.J. – A New York woman is facing numerous charges, including DWI, after she allegedly crashed her car while drunk and wearing only an unzipped jacket when authorities found her.
According to the Seattle Times, scantily clad 36-year-old Catherine Giaquinto crashed her car into a New Jersey retaining wall and drove off Friday.
Officer Joseph Pensado stopped her moments after the accident and said she told him she couldn’t remember the accident or where she was going.
WTSP reported the officer asked the woman about being naked and she denied being nude.
The officer reported seeing clothes in the car and asked her to get dressed.
Pensade said, after several minutes she emerged with her dress on inside-out and backwards.

DATA
Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the United States.
His story is the American story — values from the heartland, a middle-class upbringing in a strong family, hard work and education as the means of getting ahead, and the conviction that a life so blessed should be lived in service to others.
With a father from Kenya and a mother from Kansas, President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. He was raised with help from his grandfather, who served in Patton's army, and his grandmother, who worked her way up from the secretarial pool to middle management at a bank.
After working his way through college with the help of scholarships and student loans, President Obama moved to Chicago, where he worked with a group of churches to help rebuild communities devastated by the closure of local steel plants.
He went on to attend law school, where he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. Upon graduation, he returned to Chicago to help lead a voter registration drive, teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and remain active in his community.
President Obama's years of public service are based around his unwavering belief in the ability to unite people around a politics of purpose. In the Illinois State Senate, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, lock up the world's most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by putting federal spending online.
He was elected the 44th President of the United States on November 4, 2008, and sworn in on January 20, 2009. He and his wife, Michelle, are the proud parents of two daughters, Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11.

Sofia Vergara wedding
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) January 16, 2013
Most celebrities opt to have small, private weddings, usually in hopes of avoiding paparazzi coverage for such an intimate affair. Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, on the other hand, will be making plans for a much more extraordinary celebration.
In true Sofia Vergara fashion, the well-known actress wants an over-the-top wedding, which she describes will be “a party [with] music, dancing, [and] a lot of food”. Of course, large celebrations entail additional wedding planning efforts that will require more time to be invested, something Vergara does not have much of in her busy schedule. As such, no plans have yet been made. In fact, Vergara still needs to figure out a date for the nuptials.
“A small wedding takes quite a bit of planning as it is,” said Brett Reynolds, CEO of Wedding.com. “An over-the-top wedding like the one Sofia Vergara has in mind will definitely require more extensive preparation. In such a case, enlisting the help of family, friends, and a wedding planner is ideal.”
Vergara is currently engaged to actor and politician Nick Loeb.

Bears hire coach
CHICAGO—The Bears hired Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman on Wednesday to replace the fired Lovie Smith, hoping he can get the most out of quarterback Jay Cutler and make Chicago a playoff team on a consistent basis.
It's the first head coaching job in the NFL for Trestman, a longtime assistant in the league who spent the past five seasons coaching the CFL's Alouettes and led them to two Grey Cup titles.
Trestman was an offensive coordinator with Cleveland, San Francisco, Arizona and Oakland.
Chicago general manager Phil Emery cast a wide net in his search, meeting with at least 13 candidates. Besides Trestman, he also brought back Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and the Indianapolis Colts' Bruce Arians for second interviews.
Trestman was quarterbacks coach at the University of Miami when the Hurricanes and quarterback Vinny Testaverde won the national championship in 1983.
In the NFL, he was a position coach with Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, San Francisco, Detroit, Arizona, Oakland and Miami. He was offensive coordinator for the Browns in 1989, as Cleveland — with Bernie Kosar at QB — went to the AFC Championship Game.

SUV nearly swallowed
A driver in Smithtown, N.Y., had an early wake-up call this morning when a water main break caused his SUV to nearly be swallowed whole.
The unidentified male was driving through Smithtown, a city on Long Island of more than 100,000, around 3:30 this morning when a water main burst.
A photo captured by Stringer News and posted on Twitter shows the SUV nearly vertical yet the man was able to escape on his own unharmed, a spokeswoman for the Suffolk County Police Department told ABCNews.com.
The break was particularly powerful because it was horizontal, meaning the pipe split along its length, said Timothy Motz, director of communications for the Suffolk County Water Authority.
Motz said the break, which most likely happened because of cold temperatures, cut off water to around 26 homes.
“Smithtown,NY-Rough morning for driver on Mt.Pleasant Rd. after SUV disappears into sinkhole after water main break.” Stringer News (@Stringernews) tweeted that day, along with the photo of the SUV in an almost vertical position and is nearly being swallowed by the sinkhole.
As noted at ABC News that day, the incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. while the man is driving the SUV through Smithtown, a city on Long Island. A Suffolk County Police Department spokeswoman told them that the driver has successfully escaped from the SUV and was not injured.

Russian mafia boss killed
MOSCOW—One of Russia's top crime lords was
gunned down Wednesday in Moscow in what police described as a war
between two powerful mobs over lucrative construction projects,
allegedly including ones for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Police said an unidentified gunman fired seven shots from a sniper gun at Aslan Usoyan near a restaurant in central Moscow—the third assassination attempt on him since the late 1990s.
Usoyan, also known as Grandpa Khasan, was a 75-year-old ethnic Kurd born in the former Soviet republic of Georgia. Police say for the past two decades he headed one of the region's most powerful criminal groups, which trafficked in drugs and weapons and controlled underground casinos as well as many legal businesses, including those in the construction industry.
Police said Usoyan was hit in the jaw, hospitalized in a coma and then died. Police said the gunman, who used a state-of-the-art automatic rifle issued to Russian special forces, also injured a passerby, who was hospitalized.
Usoyan came from a caste of professional criminals who sport elaborate tattoos, follow unwritten prison laws codified in Stalinist-era Gulags and have been romanticized in countless popular songs.
He was first convicted in 1956 in Georgia

Migraines
A migraine headache can cause intense throbbing or pulsing in one area of the head and is commonly accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine attacks can cause significant pain for hours to days and be so severe that all you can think about is finding a dark, quiet place to lie down.
Some migraines are preceded or accompanied by sensory warning symptoms (aura), such as flashes of light, blind spots or tingling in your arm or leg.
Medications can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraines. If treatment hasn't worked for you in the past, talk to your doctor about trying a different migraine headache medication. The right medicines, combined with self-help remedies and lifestyle changes, may make a tremendous difference.

Horsemeat found in burgers
Traces of horse meat have been found in burgers on sale in some of the country's busiest supermarkets, food safety chiefs in Ireland have revealed.
Scientific tests on beef products sold in Tesco, Dunnes Stores, Lidl, Aldi and Iceland uncovered low levels of the animal's DNA.
Professor Alan Reilly, chief executive of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), said there was no health risk but also no reasonable explanation for horse meat to be found.
According to the research by the FSAI, one sample of burger goods, Tesco Everyday Value Beef Burgers, showed about 29% horse meat relative to beef content.
"Whilst there is a plausible explanation for the presence of pig DNA in these products due to the fact that meat from different animals is processed in the same meat plants, there is no clear explanation at this time for the presence of horse DNA in products emanating from meat plants that do not use horse meat in their production process," Prof Reilly said.
"In Ireland, it is not in our culture to eat horse meat and therefore, we do not expect to find it in a burger."
The retailers have told food safety chiefs they are removing all implicated products from their shelves. The FSAI said consumers can return implicated products to retailers.
Beef burger products which tested positive for horse DNA were produced by Liffey Meats and Silvercrest Foods in Ireland and one UK plant, Dalepak Hambleton.
The DNA tests found horse in the following products: Tesco Everyday Value Beef Burgers 29.1%; Tesco Beef Quarter Pounders 0.1%; Oakhurst Beef Burgers in Aldi 0.3%; Moordale Quarter Pounders in Lidl 0.1%; Flamehouse Chargrilled Quarter Pounders in Dunnes Stores 0.1%; two varieties of Iceland Quarter Pounders 0.1%.
Tesco said it was treating the incident as extremely serious, Aldi said it was conducting an investigation and Lidl said it has removes all implicated products from sale pending a full investigation.

Megan Fox
Megan Fox is working hard to break free of her blockbuster bombshell image, right down to removing a tattoo of iconic bombshell Marilyn Monroe from right arm.
"I started reading about her and realized that her life was incredibly difficult. It's like when you visualize something for your future. I didn't want to visualize something so negative," Fox, 26, told Esquire magazine in its February issue.
"She wasn't powerful at the time. She was sort of like Lindsay," Fox continued. "She was an actress who wasn't reliable, who almost wasn't insurable ... She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I'm not interested in following in those footsteps."
Read more from Fox's interview with Esquire
The actress built a reputation as a sexy star in the "Transformers" franchise but as of late she's shifting her focus to landing more comedic roles, like in "This is 40" and "Friends with Kids" - as well as maintaining her commitment to her faith.
"I have seen magical, crazy things happen. I've seen people be healed. Even now, in the church I go to, during Praise and Worship I could feel that I was maybe getting ready to speak in tongues, and I'd have to shut it off because I don't know what that church would do if I started screaming out in tongues in the back," she told Esquire. details

Cam Newton degree
AL.com said Newton declined interview requests about his return to school. It has to be strange for undergrads to walk into a lecture and see a NFL superstar next to them taking notes.
"He wants to focus on school and be a normal student," said associate athletic director for communication Kirk Sampson told AL.com.
There's no way Newton will be a "normal student" on that campus, considering his NFL fame and his instant legend status at Auburn for bringing a national championship, but that's what makes it interesting. Newton never needs to take another class in his life, but he's back on campus getting ready to write papers and take exams. That's commendable.

Nicki Minaj
"It's like a defense mechanism. You know what I mean?" she added. "Your feelings are hurt and you can't believe it so you kind of just compensate with being crazy."
Carey has already commented on the feud at length, including telling Barbara Walters that she felt threatened by the rapper, but Minaj opted to stay quiet.
Now, she insists there's no more bad blood between them.
"We're fine," Minaj told the host. "I cannot hold a grudge against Mariah Carey. What people don't understand is that I've looked up to her for so many years."
But it might not all end in perfect harmony. The rapper doesn't promise that any 'Idol' live shows will be completely tame.
"I cannot trust myself," said Minaj. "I don't want anyone on the panel to say something too crazy because I don't want to look like a crazy psycho again." details

Woman missing in Grand Canyon
A woman missing in the Grand Canyon since Saturday remains lost, and as authorities in Colorado scale back their search the woman’s mother fears the worst.
The missing woman, 21-year-old Katilin Anne Kenney, was last seen onFriday at a camp bear Tapeats Creek on the northern side of the Colorado River. She was there as part of a private river trip through Grand Canyon National Park, The Associated Press reported.
The woman was reported missing in the Grand Canyon on Saturday, and since then crews have searched both by air and on the ground for Kenney.
After the search for Kenney yielded no clues, park spokeswoman Shannan Marcak said that authorities have decided to scale back their search for the woman missing in the Grand Canyon, a report Monday from The Associated Press noted. She added that the search will continue, though in a “limited mode in which rangers and pilots will continue to search for clues when in the area.”
The mother of the woman lost in the Grand Canyon appears to have lost hope in her recovery, TheDenverChannel reported.
World of Warcraft park
If you love Chinese knock-offs -- and I know you do -- you'll love this bit of news: World Joyland, the famed and unlicensed World of Warcraft theme park in Changzhou, China, is now open for business. The people at Shanghaiist took a tour of the place, taking myriad pictures of their experience.
In actuality, the park is less of a WoW rip-off and more of a Blizzard rip-off. It includes a Starcraft-themed area named "Universe of Starship" in addition to its World of Warcraft area, which is named "Terrain of Magic."
What kind of rides does the place have? Well, Shanghaiist detailed one of them:
Our first ride was an exciting little number called Splash of Monster Blood, and they're not kidding about the splash. We'll just say this much: trying to act cool by refusing the buy a sky blue poncho on your way in is a giant n00b stamp.
The ride was, as its sign board attests, a "beast-bloody journey" (a.k.a. your standard amusement park log ride affair.) After clicking and chugging up a tunnel full of orcs and monsters, you are then plunged down into water that manages somehow to smash you from both the front and the back simultaneously.
